LEARNING OUTCOMES
The objective of the course is to introduce the basic concepts of economics and management required by engineers. After completing the course, students will be able to:
- Understand the basic structure of the economic system and the role of business in it.
- To evaluate investments in resources taking into account life cycle dynamics and forms of financing.
- To understand the basic functions of management (planning, organization, direction/leadership and control) and the management practices associated with them.
