LEARNING OUTCOMES

The aim of the course

The aim of this course is to brush upon students’ general French language skills with an emphasis on more Technical French topics and enhance their technical and semi-technical vocabulary in Mechanical Engineering Language (following  French for Mechanical Engineering I)

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course students:

1. will have practiced and improved all four French language skills
2. will have introduced themselves to more topics in Mechanical Engineering, and the language used in the field.
3. will have acquired the skills to approach texts in Mechanical Engineering (text comprehension, linguistic practice, vocabulary building, written speech production)
