LEARNING OUTCOMES
The course is selective and is offered in the 2nd semester of studies.
Objectives of the course:
- Definition of the concepts and specific characteristics of technical text
- Recognition of the role and importance of writing good technical texts
- Acquiring knowledge about the structure, organization and aesthetics of the technical text – Learning Writing Techniques
- Acquiring knowledge about bibliographic search and organizing/evaluating bibliographic references – Learn about plagiarism issues
- Learning oral presentation techniques for presenting technical papers, projects, research results, etc.
- Acquiring practical experience by writing and finally presenting a complete technical text
Upon successful completion of the course the student will:
- Be aware of the role and importance of technical writing
- Have acquired knowledge and experience on writing techniques
- Be able to organize the bibliographic research and exploit its results
- Become familiar with oral presentation techniques
