LEARNING OUTCOMES
Understand the strategic role of production units within private and public organizations.
Understand the strategic objectives of the production operation function in different contexts.
Knowledge of the organizational characteristics that determine the strategic role and the performance of a production system.
Knowledge of the dynamics of the decision areas of operations strategy: management of capacity, development and management of supply network, management of process technology, and design and management of organizational structures and knowledge processes for achieving specific operations objectives.
