- Learning: The students comprehend the basic principles of design of air vehicles, which are essential for the calculation of component weights, the general aircraft configuration, the propulsion system, as well as the design of wing and control surfaces.
- Skills: The students gain experience in design of air vehicles according to specifications, they become familiar with using existing software for design optimization, and they can carry out the preliminary design of jet and propeller aircraft as well as helicopters.
