Computational Mechanics and Engineering Problems: Analytical and numerical methods for solving direct and inverse wave scattering and radiation problems in Acoustics, Electromagnetism, Elasticity, Thermoelasticity and Gradient Elasticity, Wave propagation in waveguides, composite and non-homogeneous materials, Non-destructive Testing simulations (Acoustic Emission, Ultrasonics, Acousto-ultrasonics), Structural acoustics, Wave propagation in bones and tissues, Ultrasound in bioengineering , Homogenization techniques in non-homogeneous solids and structures, Numerical solution of applied mechanics problems dealing with materials and structures with microstructural effects, Fracture mechanics, Mechanical Vibrations, Vibration Isolation.

BEAP (Boundary Element Analysis Program): A boundary element, object oriented code (FORTRAN, C++) for solving elastic, acoustic, thermoelastic, gradient elastic and fluid structure interaction problems, in two and three dimensions as well as acoustic, electromagnetic, elastic, acoustic-elastic and thermoelastic wave scattering and radiation problems.
