Studies: 1989: Diploma in Mechanical & Aeronautics Engineering Dept, Univ. of Patras, 1995: Ph.D. Mechanical & Aeronautics Engineering Dept, Univ. of Patras; Thesis title:’Stress, stability and vibration analysis of composite plates by semi-analytical method’.

Professional Activities: 1989-1995: Post-graduate student of the Laboratory of Technology & Strength of Materials, Mechanical & Aeronautics Engineering Dept., Univ. of Patras, doctoral thesis in the field of stress analysis of light weight structures, 1991-1992: Scientific collaboration with the Ιnstitut fuer Leichtbau of RWTH Aachen-Germany, in the frame of a bilateral scientific programme, 1993-1995: Scientific collaboration at Dornier Luftfahrt A.G. in Friedrischafen-Germany, 1996-1999: Scientific collaboration with the Institute of Structures & Advanced Materials, Patras, 1999-2003: Research & Production Engineer at ELVAL S.A., 2003-today:Assistant Professor, Mechanical & Aeronautics Engineering Dept., Univ. of Patras.

Participation in the European Funded Research Projects Participation in 31 European Funded Research Projects in 9 of them as scientific responsible for Univ. Patras

Publications: More than 40 publications in scientific International Journals. More than 12 publications/presentations in scientific International Conferences, Publication in International Books: 3 publications in international books
